FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS

The entire Parish Community extends its heartfelt wishes of prayer, love and support to the family of JOHN DOUGLAS PFLUG, III during this most difficult time in our lives. Although our hearts may be broken, our faith reminds us of the tremendous love that God has for us all. For Johny, life has changed not ended. One day we will see you again and until that day may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

A YEAR LONG CELEBRATION OF SAINT PAUL

We join with the Universal Church in celebrating the 2000th anniversary of the birth of Saint Paul. During this year, plenary indulgences are granted to pilgrims who visit designated sites throughout the archdiocese. Our parish has been named one of these sites. Details can be found in our Bulletin. May the intercession of Saint Paul continue to guide and protect us all.

LET US PRAY FOR THOSE IN NEED

If you, or someone you know, is in need of prayer, please contact the Rectory Office at (973) 376-3044 and we will add your request to our prayer list. Through the prayer of intercession, God will touch our hearts and bring us comfort, healing & peace. This may not always come in the form of what WE want, but will always come in the form of what WE need.

OUR FIRST CHURCH ON MORRIS AVENUE

Every once in a while, it's good to take a look back and see where we came from and remember our humble beginnings. Our first church building, now a bank, was built for the people of Springfield by the sweat of their brows and the generosity of their hearts. This simple, little church has grown from a handful of families to almost 1800 families. We thank God for our growth and especially for our birth.
